Zinedine Zidane

 One of the greatest football players of all time , a French Legend, Zinedine Zidane was born on 23 June 1972. He is of Algerian Kabyle Berber , his parents imigrated in Paris in 1953 before the start of the Algerian war .

A Legendary football carrier
 At the age of 10 , he joined the local club from La Castellane, US Saint-Henri. After a year and a half he joined SO Septèmes Valons.At the age of 14 , he was spotted by one of the AS Cannes scout in one of the football camps he attended. Zidane went to Cannes and ended up playing 4 years of professional football at a high level.He made his professional debut in 1989 at the age of 17 in a game against Nantes. He scored his first goal in 1991 
against the same team.
 Zidane was transferred to Girondins de Bordeaux in the 1992–93 season. In 1996 he moved to the Champions League winner Juventus Torino for a fee of 3.2 milion pounds.

 The biggest move in his life was moving to one of the biggest clubs in the world , Real Madrid in 2001 for the record fee of almost 75 million euros. He scored a famous match-winning goal, a volley hit with his weaker foot, in Madrid's 2–1 win over Bayer Leverkusen in the 2002 UEFA Champions League. 

 Along his carrier he played 108 games for the French National team scoring 31 goals and 506 matches for his club teams scoring a total of 95 goals. Impressive numbers for an attacking midfielder...
 In my opinion he is in top 3 footballers of all time, his carrier is the proof of it. He is an idol to the young, a master of the ballcontrol ,a God of the free-kicks and penalties. Quality players are quality players ,Zizou is definitelly one of them !

 

Steven Gerrard

I think that all of you know who is Steven Gerrard , so we'll talk about his career at Liverpool and the national team of England.

Short history:

To begin with, he was born on 30 May 1980 in Whiston, Merseyside. He started playing football for his hometown team, where was noticed by Liverpool scouts and later, at the age of 9, he joined Liverpool Academy. 8 years later, he signed his first professional contract with Liverpool on 5 November 1997.

His first appearance for Liverpool first team was on 29 November 1998 in a Preamier League Match against Blackburn Rovers.

Later in the 1999-2000 season, he scored his first senior goal in a 4-1 victory over Sheffield.

In the season 2000-2001, he made 50 starts in all competitions and scored 10 goals as he won his first trophies with Liverpool : League Cup, FA Cup and UEFA Cup. In the following season he would go to win FA Charity Shield and Uefa Super Cup.

Since 2003, he is the captain for Liverpool after he replaced Sami Hyypia and he chose to extend his contract at the club.

Steven Gerrard won the Uefa Champions League in 2006 after the amazing match against AC Milan when he scored one goal and was named the Man of the Match and later recevied the Uefa Club Footballer of the Year.

He made his international debut against Ukraine on 31 May 2000, and scored his first goal in 2002 against Germany. He was named permanent captain of the national team of England by Roy Hodgson in time for the euro 2012. Gerrard was the only England player to be named in the UEFA Team of the Tournament.
